Pop Star Shakira considering album in Arabic

Colombian pop singer Shakira said Saturday she would one day like to sing pop songs, if not an entire album, in Arabic.

The loss comes after Amazon paid $8.39 per album to Interscope Records for the right to sell the full album in digital form.

Hackers Post Fake ‘Tupac Alive in New Zealand’ Story on PBS Site

Hackers on the PBS website posted afake story tonight claiming deceased rapper Tupac Shakur was alive and living in New Zealand.

The same bogus report said the late hip-hop starBiggie Smalls was also residing in the country.

Shortly after publication, the fake story was removed.

It read, in part:

“Prominent rapper Tupac has been found alive and well in a small resort in New Zealand, locals report. The small town – unnamed due to security risks – allegedly housed Tupac and Biggie Smalls (another rapper) for several years. One local, David File, recently passed away, leaving evidence and reports of Tupac’s visit in a diary, which he requested be shipped to his family in the United States.”

The hack is being attributed to “Lulz Security,” which earlier this month broke into FOX, stealing personal information about employees and potential contestants on “The X Factor.”

BARCELONA, Spain — Street parties in Barcelona celebrating the victory of the city's soccer team in the Champions League final turned violent early Sunday and at least 18 people were hospitalized, according to local media reports.

Police said more than 80 people were arrested after revelers attacked officers with bottles, flares and other objects, and destroyed park benches and bus stops. The scuffles broke out hours after Barcelona beat Manchester United 3-1 at Wembley Stadium in England on Saturday night. About 50,000 people flooded the streets of Barcelona to celebrate.

Sean Kingston Hospitalized, In Serious Condition, Following Jet Ski Accident (Updated)

Sean Kingston is in a Miami hospital’s trauma unit following a bad jet skiing accident this evening, around 6pm. Local10.com reports that the pop star along with a female passenger were riding on a jet ski when it crashed into a bridge.
