Things sure do seem to be getting better with age for 74 year-old actor Morgan Freeman who was awarded the American Film Institute’s 39th Life Achievement Award last night in Culver City, Calif.. Morgan was joined by his loving family who seem to be so proud of him and all his achievements!

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Donate $500,000 to Recovery Efforts in Joplin.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt contributed $500,000 to the Community Foundation of the Ozarks to help recovery efforts in Joplin, Mo.

Brad, a native of Springfield, Mo., and Angie donated the money through their foundation.

“With the devastating loss of 30 percent of the city, the Joplin community faces great challenges ahead. Having spent much of my childhood there, I know these people to be hardworking, humble and especially resilient,” Brad said in a statement (via ABC’s KSPR 33). “The locally based Community Foundation of the Ozarks will be working shoulder to shoulder with these Joplin residents for the long haul as they rebuild their lives. We, too, hope to further help with these rebuilding efforts.”

Justin Bieber‘s girlfriend was reportedly taken to the hospital after her appearance. According to TMZ, Selena was rushed to the hospital last night right after she finished chatting with Jay Leno.
