Pink gave birth to a baby girl yesterday so we can bet her house will be decked out in a nursery that is — you guessed it — all pink! Along with hubby of five years, Carey Hart, they welcomed daughter Willow Sageinto the world.
Last night the pop star tweeted, “We are ecstatic to welcome our new beautiful healthy happy baby girl, Willow Sage Hart. She’s gorgeous, just like her daddy. #beyondblessed”
Back in November the new mommy first broke news of her pregnancy on The Ellen DeGeneres Show by simply stating, “I’m eating for two these days.”
Even as rumors started flying about her speculated pregnancy, she was reluctant to dish at first. Pink previously had a miscarriage and according to MTV News, at the time she told Ellen, ”I have had a miscarriage before, but if I was going to talk about it with anyone, it was going to be with you.”
Prior to appearing on Ellen, the doctor told Pink she was going to have a baby girl but the 31-year-old rocker didn’t want to believe it at first! As for the reason? Karma, baby. She explained, ”I’m terrified, because she thinks it’s a girl! My mom has always wished me a daughter just like me. I’m terrified one of us will go to jail.”
