Although the 27-year-old beauty has been linked to Bradley Cooper and Justin Timberlake since splitting from hubbyTao Ruspoli in March, the actress isn’t bothered by the speculation about her private life.
“Well, I just try to focus on work,” she admits at the Fresh Air Fund’s Salute To American Heroes event held Thursday in NYC. “I love to work. I’m in a very lucky position to be able to have roles now that I really enjoy working on, so I focus on that and keep my head down and try to do that.”
Even married Hugh Jackman has taken note of Olivia’s charms.
The Aussie actor, 42, stars in the comedy Butter with her, and regrets that they didn’t have scenes together.
“I know — I was duped,” he tells me at the Kimchi Chronicles premiere party held this week in NYC. “I thought we were working together, but apparently not.”
Hm, what makes her irresistible?
“She’s a very good actress, for one, and she happens to be particularly attractive as well,” Hugh says. “I think that’s a good combination. Talent, sexy … it’s good.”
For Olivia, fame means bringing attention to causes that matter to her most, like being honored by the Fresh Air Fund for her charity work.
“It’s wonderful,” she tells me. “It’s really a huge honor. I’m representing Artists For Peace and Justice, which is an organization based in Haiti that provides education to the poorest kids of Haiti, and our goals are very similar – to bring education and joy to kids who are desperately in need of those things. The Fresh Air Fund is a perfect fit fro APJ, and I’m honored to be here for that.”
