Friends legend David Schwimmer and his photographer wife Zoe Buckman have welcomed a healthy baby girl named Cleo Buckman Schwimmer.
David and Zoe first me in 2007 when David was directing the Simon Pegg comedy Run Fatboy Run, at the time she was working as a waitress in the Cuckoo Club.
The pair tied the knot in a private ceremony last June after announcing their engagement in March.
David has been connected to various celebrities and most notably dated Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia and former S Club 7 star Tina Barrett and spoke of his desire to be a father "It will happen when it feels right. Maybe part of me is waiting for myself to slow down a little and be ready to stay put. I'm confident it's gonna happen."
David will reprise his role of Melman in the third film in the Madagascar series on October 19 2012 which sees Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo join a traveling circus in an effort to get back home to New York.
Eric Darnell is currently filming from a screenplay by Noah Baumbach and reunites Schwimmer with Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett-Smith and also stars Transformermers: Dark of the Moon's Frances McDormand.
