JASON MOMOA REVEALS MAGIC AND SORCERY IN FOLLOW UPS TO HIS CONAN THE BARBARIAN

Ahead of its August 26 release, Jason Momoa the man who plays the Cimmerian warrior is already campaigning for the film. He spoke to Empire about his take on Conan the Barbarian.

The Hawaii native promises a speedier hero that Arnie's beefcake of the 80's original "We wanted to make him nimble, he's a product of his environment. He's not out there lifting boulders..."

On the matter of the dark arts that run through the Robert E. Howard stories, Momoa said "There's a lot of magic and sorcery in the Conan stories but they wanted to steer clear of including too much of that because of Clash Of The Titans.

They have a little bit of the sorcery in there with Marique (Rose McGowan) but I'm sure in Conan 2 and 3 there's going to be a lot more of that."

So it looks as though a Conan trilogy is in the works so as long as Conan strikes a powerful blow at the box office this August then we'll see the follow ups.
